The Cohort!

When I first came to Central I was a shy guy from a small town that had no more than three stop signs in it. I knew one person that was here already and that was it. Since then I have grown quite a bit. I'm so much more outgoing and am able to have fun with anybody that I'm around. I am leaving this cohort knowing that I have a friend in every single person. I think we were all lucky to have a group like this to go through college together. We are all supportive of each other and have a lot of fun together. My two years at Central have been the best two years of my life. I'm excited to spend another year here, but sad to know that some of the people I have spent the past two years with will be gone. I wish everyone good luck with their future and I know they will succeed in anything they wish to accomplish in life!

Peshastin Climbing Adventure

This was the biggest physical challenge I faced all year. Climbing in Peshastin took a lot of mental and physical toughness. We not only had to deal with the high level of physical exertion, but we had to keep telling ourselves that we could finish the climb and reach just a little higher. The heat made the climbing very difficult. It would reflect off of the rocks and completely drain the body of energy. I climbed for about an hour and a half and went to eat my sandwich, which I came to find out that it had melted in my backpack because of the heat. I powered through the day and was able to complete the advanced level in everything that was offered. It was a great experience and I was very glad that I completed what I did. I had a lot of fun and finished it with a burger and a beer at Gustav's in Leavenworth!
